#Apple review: #Kanzi - a red apple, received mistakenly in a shopping delivery, rather than the #RedDelicious. Texture: good - crisp and crunchy all the way through. No floury softness. Flavour: SWEET. Disappointingly single-note sweet. Lacks the Red Delicious tart skin-flavour.

Red Delicious still the best apple, so long as you get one that isn't over-ripe, bruised or over-chilled.

What Red Delicious apples taught me is that if something says "Delicious" in its title, it's absolutely not.

Trash apples.
