Shaved this morning for a cleaner mask fit, left in time for the 45-min drive to Aldi for our monthly cheap grocery shopping. Goal was be there by 10:00AM and out by 11:00. Managed the first but really the shopping always takes 90 min.

Place was dead quiet when I arrived, but busying up a lot by the time I left near noon. Crowded at the one register so they opened another.

Point to this anecdote: at no time did I see even one person wearing a mask.
