In honour of #RecoveryMonth - #NewRoadsTherapeuticRecoveryCommunity #OurPlaceSociety & #UmbrellaSociety have partnered to deliver a #celebration of #recovery for individuals, families and friends affected by substance use disorders and other addictions.

RDV 24 is a free, family friendly, inclusive, alcohol/substance free event for anyone to attend who has an interest in celebrating recovery, honouring those who have recovered and giving hope to those seeking sustainable recovery from active addiction.

The day will include music, comedy, and other entertainment on the main stage; food trucks, a artisans marketspace, a resource providers marketspace, 4-on-4 street hockey tournament, a kids stage and "Family Fun Land" inflatable fun park for kids, parents, and adults.

There will also be crafting and #therapeutic arts workshops, face painting, and more!

Main Event runs from Noon until 7pm

Street Hockey Tournament runs from 9am until 5pm.

Hoy di mi primer paseo después de dos semanas sin moverme por culpa de la operación ❤️‍🩹

El paseo fue bien, di dos: uno para tantear el terreno y otro para ir a hacerme la manicura porque justo el sábado tengo un evento y tengo que ir elegante (además me hacía ilusión hacerme la manicura por primera vez, siempre me lo hago en casa).

Y, ay, me ha encantado la experiencia ❤️‍🩹

Las estilistas (creo que se dice así) eran simpatiquísimas, muy agradables y la que me ha atendido durante todo el proceso era un cielo. ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Había tres marcas de pintauñas/laca de uñas y he elegido la marca OPI, que siempre he visto por ahí en tiendas y siempre he querido probarla.

En un principio tenía ganas de hacerme las uñas francesas, nada muy extravagante.

Pero he visto un diseño en Pinterest adorable y sin duda ha sido lo pedido.

Combinará con los pendientes largos plateados y el collar plateado y el vestido rosa que usaré ❤️‍🩹
