Just finished Rebel Galaxy. Recommended.

Some unexpected and interesting artistic choices lend Rebel Galaxy a great vibe, but gameplay is remarkably thin. Luckily, the number of main story missions is small, just wrapping up by the time the action begins to bore—at least when powering straight through.

Ugh, Rebel Galaxy is a great game but it's starting to feel a drag (hi, I'm Alex and I have a beef with the dothat,getstuff,rinse and repeat kinda games).

Even switching to a new system requires to get a bigger ship, better weapons, better shields, etc, making the user go from station to station and collect new doable missions, because the current step of the main mission is always deadlier than the previous step.

I loved the game in the early phases (and by ye gods, the OST is something out of this world, look it up on your music services folks!) but ugh, can't do with grinding and boring phases.

Le sigh.

Not sure what to do with the front yet, it's still too bulky. I think I'll go for a sharper look that resembles the bow of modern ships.
