Just played Wasteland 2. Not recommended.
Although at first engaging and both a nostalgic successor to the original Fallouts as well as a worthy sequel, Wasteland 2 becomes offensively, unbearably long. The amount of time the game demanded I invest became so absurdly large that I completely lost any interest in any aspect of the game and uninstalled.
Just finished Pillars of Eternity. Recommended!
This modern successor to Baldur's Gate combines classic CRPG depth with the intricate, consequential narratives Obsidian is known for.

Deliciously cheeseable combat and fun, interesting characters often left me surprised by the amount of time passed after a play session.
Just finished The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall. Recommended.
Brutally flawed, especially regarding level design, but a fascinating world and satisfying gameplay loop make Daggerfall genuinely compelling for medieval RPG fans or historically-minded gamers.
April 9, 2026: Played XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Recommended.
The core tactical gameplay is often thrilling but becomes relentless and repetitive after many hours. Way too long for the gameplay to remain interesting; would be perfect if the campaign was half as long.
Just finished Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun. Recommended!
While the name and concept promise a tactical depth that the gameplay never provides, Shadow Tactics—like any competent stealth game—still provides plenty of enjoyment.

Electrifying. Cerebral and surreal; the world of Disco Elysium captures the mind and doesn't let go, even long after the story has ended.
Just finished Black Book. Recommended!
Despite the inherently burdensome deckbuilder genre, every aspect of Black Book beautifully ties into its resplendent celebration of Slavic folklore and storytelling.
Just played Enter the Gungeon. Not recommended.
The roguelike format yet remains undefeated in tedium. Although clearly a work of passion, never before has playing a game felt like such a complete waste of my time (although some have come close).
