Went kind of crazy at the bookstore recently, and I now have a big, lovely pile of books to get through. I've already started on the top one by Jason Pargin, and I'm really enjoying it.

This, of course, isn't counting all of the e-books I still haven't started (but are definitely up next), and there's also a local book fair coming up soon, so...I'll probably be busy for a while.

Ce soir, la rappeuse #Noname , de son vrai nom Fatimah Nyeema Warner, jouera au Trabendo.
(Dommage, c'est à guichet fermé).

Cette jeune femme hyper politisée s'investit énormément sur le plan humain (elle fournit des tentes aux sans-abris, intervient en prison, grâce au club de lecture qu'elle a monté, fustige le capitalisme, alors que plus jeune, elle l'avait encensé).

Sur le plan économique, elle fait en sorte de soutenir des librairies détenues par des personnes noires (Black-owned Bookstores) pour encourager la lecture dans la communauté noire ! ✊🏾

Je la laisse se présenter, elle le fera beaucoup mieux que moi.
