🔧 Menu Configuration Actually Works Now
You know the Paketti Menu Configuration dialog? (Tools → Paketti → Paketti Menu Configuration...) The one where you can uncheck right-click menu contexts to declutter your Renoise?
Yeah — it was completely broken. Unchecking stuff did nothing. You'd turn off Disk Browser menus, restart Renoise, and they were still there. Shoutout to the user who reported this

Wo-hoo! I was wondering how hard it would be to record #Roland v-#drums into #Renoise to dedicated tracks for each pad group. The answer: not hard at all.
Ofc you can record them directly to #DAW, but going via Renoise I can separate them right away for mixing. This way it’ll resemble regular drum mixing a lot. _And_ I can select different Abbey Road #drumset for every track, if I like. (And quite often I do.)
Two things, not sure how well they work for all cases. There’s a tool that will split a single track into multiple tracks based on assorted properties: https://www.renoise.com/tools/split-into-separate-tracks You can also record to different tracks right from the start if your drum-pad can be set to send each pad on a different channel. You can the create separate instruments that a) only listen for MIDI on a given channel, and b) are coupled to a specific track. I did this just now with my ...

Improvement: I've now hidden all V3.5 features of Paketti, from those who download Paketti and run it on Renoise V3.4.4 - a few slipped through the cracks, but now you can boot up V3.4.x Renoise, with Paketti, without running into issues. This is a part of a larger project to make Paketti compatible across previous Renoise versions, and requires a lot of plumbing. Stay tuned for announcement of the end
