sample-library roots you set in Paketti preferences before giving up.

There's a toggle in preferences if you'd rather have one big lumped instrument.

ranges. Volume, pan, fine-tune, base note, key range, loop mode all transfer. Renoise stays responsive during import via a background slicer with a progress dialog (Vintage Strat is 239 sample slices across 28 instruments — takes a while, but the UI never freezes).

The Octatrack .ot importer also got smarter while we were in there — if the paired .wav isn't next to the .ot, it'll search the

mush. So Paketti splits each EXS group into its own Renoise instrument: "Vintage Strat (6 E_Main)", "Vintage Strat (5 A_Mute)", "Vintage Strat (Open Chords)", and so on. You pick which articulation plays by selecting the instrument — same model as SF2 import (N presets in the file → N instruments).

Each instrument gets only its articulation's note slices, mapped to their original keys and velocity

every velocity, every articulation (normal pick, palm mute, tapping, high-register tapping, open chords, barre chords) recorded once and tagged "this slice = low E fret 5, soft, normal pick". Logic groups these by articulation (Vintage Strat has 28: 6 strings × 4 types plus chords).

If everything got lumped into one Renoise instrument, pressing a key would trigger every articulation at once — flanging

Feature: Paketti now imports Logic EXS24 (.exs) sampler instruments. Drop any .exs into Renoise — Paketti reads it, finds the audio (next to the .exs, by the absolute path Logic embedded, or it asks you), and builds Renoise instruments.

**Fixed a crash when stopping sample recording with "Start/Stop Sample Recording and Pakettify"**

Previously, pressing the shortcut a second time to stop recording could crash with the error *"attempt to index local 'sample' (a nil value)"*. This happened if the sample wasn't fully ready yet when the recording stopped. Now it handles that gracefully instead of crashing.

**Fixed a bug where the Launch App / Filter dialog would crash with an error when trying to load filter results. Update Paketti to get the fix — just reload the tool or restart Renoise.**
