So, ... question for the EU rail experts here.
I'd like to cycle Lyon to Luxembourg. I want to depart from Brussels and ideally get myself and my bike to Lyon on the same day.
https://www.sncf-connect.com/ finds any number of trains from Paris to Lyon that will take my bike, so that part is staightforward.
However, getting to Paris seems to be an issue. Eurostar won't take (assembled) bikes, and the new Eurocity/Ouigo train is very unclear about bikes. If I select the 'bike' option it finds no routes, but without the bike option the Eurocity does say "Espace vélo payant".
The alternative for Brussels - Paris is to go Brussels - Charleroi - Maubeuge - Paris, but that's an all day sort of trip.
