Afghanistan 🇦🇫The district governor of Baghdad, Kabul, told Radio Harat that a house in the Gosfandaran village collapsed last night due to the earthquake, resulting in the deaths of eight members of a family and injuring another.
In the Mohammad Agha district of Logar, one house was completely destroyed, and two others were partially damaged.
Javid Fazli, the press officer of the Disaster Response Directorate in Logar, told Radio Harat that no one suffered serious injuries in the incident.
Fazli also stated that floods in Logar have damaged 300 homes and destroyed thousands of acres of agricultural land.
Last night, an earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale shook many parts of the country, including Kabul, as well as areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Indian-administered Kashmir. The epicenter of the earthquake was in the Jarm district of Badakhshan province.
