Who has put pressure on FF & FG to exclude services from the Occupied Territories Bill?
They have given no rationale for that decision.
Road Safety Authority CEO Sam Waide gave an appalling interview on #RTEPrimetime tonight but one particular line betrayed the car-centric thinking that underpins everything the RSA does:
"We are delivering a service that gives people mobility if they can’t cycle or walk."
I'm not sure what point he was trying to make but the reality is that they are delivering a service which prevents people from cycling or walking, and they don't even see it.
Hot on the tail of DPC TikTok decision being appealed and #RTEPrimeTime returning to the story of Dept of Health #DataProtection breaches, a key point to note:
Organisations can insist they disagree with a DPC decision.
But if the window for appeal under s150 DPA 2018 has closed and no appeal has been lodged, the organization has, in practice, *accepted* the findings of fact by the DPC and the decision.
PR spin is not the same as an appeal. TikTok seems to be appealing. DoH didn’t.
