The skill to make myself forget.

Interviewer: one that’s not trauma related.

Kemi: Oh. Uh. Art. I tried to redraw the selfies people took of me before the war. My art skills are so ass that I could not replicate it properly. It looked terrible.

I want to draw the colorful fiery halos that surround me before I light my fireworks. I want to draw my happy, smiling face that I don’t see anymore. I want to I want to I want to. I want to draw! I want my art to mean something and it can’t mean anything if it looks like a child drew it! Nobody will look at that.

Interviewer: technically. Art is subjective. And besides, your art can’t be that childish.

Kemi: I wish I could believe you. When my friend posts it, nothing happens.

Interviewer: posts it?? That’s because so many people are posting things. It’s bound to be drown out. And websites want you to pay to be seen in the algorithm. Try another way that isn’t on engagement-based platforms.

Kemi: I suppose so.

Dragons would stop humans from taking over Mars

Do you think humans will ever colonize Mars? What would life there actually look like?

Today we have one of the dragon emperors speaking to us about this. Ashuton lets us know his thoughts on the idea of humans colonizing mars.

Ashuton

I pray they do not. If they colonize Mars it will be a place where they don’t allow colored humans, and if they do, it will only be a few who kiss up to… you know. I can’t say much in regards to that.

If humans do get there, it will be another mess where they destroy a planet, but I would wipe the colonists off the face of Mars before they have a chance. I showed mercy once before because it was a diverse group of humans, but I will not be so merciful next time. If not me, it will be one my children who knocks them out.

Mars is our world. If the Draconizica Council deems humans unnecessary on its surface, I will oblige their decision. Pests will be dealt with accordingly.

Interviewer: since when have you had this harsh tone when speaking about humans? What changed?

Ashuton: Nothing. I just don’t like it when they think they can destroy another world that belongs to us.

*He looks down at his hands, silent for a moment, before looking back at the interviewer.*

Ashuton: I admit as I have many times before, I love humans. I would rather help them figure out how to live cleanly and non-destructively towards the world.

Interviewer: and towards each other?

Ashuton: I don’t live in a fantasy.
