I bought the RE2 and 4 remakes over last weekend and played most of the way through two this weekend. The original was a catalyst for my love of zombie horror when I was a kid, and replaying it now is an absolute joy. I forgot how actually good the game is. Between the nostalgia, the updated graphics, and Leon Kennedy's ass, I've been a happy camper at the ole PC, despite still being down a monitor 😅
