Also used the Bolt Action rifle all the way through instead of upgrading to the semi-auto and then the M16 later, and that was definitely a good choice. M16 is fun but wastes *so* much ammo ultimately, Bolt Action just *pops* people #RE4R
Finished my #RE4R replay I'd been working on on and off for a bit. Still just an *elite* action game. Built a lot more appreciation for the Bolt Thrower in particular this run, though I also picked up the Matilda instead of the good ol' Red 9 and enjoyed it quite a bit.
#RE4R secret: The bolt thrower is actually *incredibly* good and a great investment
#RE4R: Still an *elite* action game, it turns out. It says a lot that after playing a lot of a *really* good Space Marine 2, I still immediately went "oh wow this is a lot better" when I came back to this lol. Granted they do have very different goals, but still.
Finally getting back to my #RE4R replay after a long distraction by Space Marine, and I still love the weary "oh give me a break...." Leon lets out when he first see a plagas burst out of the back of an angry dog.
I'm still so happy that #RE4R made absolutely zero extra effort to explain The Merchant.
Also I just suplexed an old lady who didn't even know I was there and I forgot you could do that......... #RE4R
Giving #RE4R a replay like I'd been meaning to for a few months - god damn this game still feels *good* though. Capcom's devs' moment-to-moment mechanical design chops have been damn near unparalleled over the last few years.
