đŸłïžâ€đŸŒˆ 📖 October Queer Romance Club - seeking suggestions 📖 đŸłïžâ€đŸŒˆ

October’s theme is paranormal/Halloween reads. I’ll put the vote out over the weekend.

I have a few ideas already:

All of Us Murderers by KJ Charles (m/m, historical, Gothic, something unnatural lurks
)

The Most Unusual Haunting of Edgar Lovejoy by Roan Parrish (transmasc they/cis he, ghosts, cosy)

Feast While You Can by Julia Armfield and Eliza Clark (f/f, sounds like actual horror though, so might not be to everyone’s tastes)

But Not Too Bold By Hache Pueyo (sapphic gothic fantasy monster romance novella, possibly still more down the horror end)

The Lavender Blade by EL Deards (I’m not sure if this is a romance actually, but it sounds great ;) established m/m relationship, a case of possession)

Other suggestions much appreciated!

(We’ve already had two ghost stories this year, Roland Rogers Isn’t Dead Yet by Samantha Allen and The Keeper of Lonely Spirits by EM Anderson. Must be something in the air 😊)

🇬🇧 English review below

"Delilah Green Doesn’t Care" was exactly what I hoped for—a great rom-com! The characters are fantastic, and I have a soft spot for Iris, which makes me even more excited to read the third book.
It was a really enjoyable read that I highly recommend. It's funny, engaging, and never boring. Plus, there are some lovely moments, especially when it comes to family relationships.

đŸ„° It’s that kind of friendship. Friends who are ride or die. There are so few books that prioritize platonic friendships that fulfill important parts of ourselves. If you’re looking for a fun, cozy sci-fi where friendship matters more than anything full of queer characters then sign up for my free short story (link in bio) to receive updates, and free ARCs, for *The Scavengers and the Stray*.
