Some people say #SolarPunk is only art and not a real life movement... We happen to disagree! Our family has always been more rocker than hippie, we deeply embrace the creating with reclaimed materials emphasis, focus on small community action, and we're believers in making functional and attractive design and tech.
Our community also doesn't have the best perception of "hippies" and we hope that shifting the paradigm can show more people that taking care of our planet, growing food, and creating together is resistance and revolutionary action. It's also a ton of fun with our crew.
So... Queer solar punk photo shoot to connect, create together, and have some fun, because why not.
If you're in Athens and would like to join us, feel free to come by for our "work parties" on Sunday afternoons around 16:00 to help out, create, or just enjoy the garden vibes. We're also around most days at least to water, afternoon/evening time.
Instruments, art supplies, seeds, soil, or beer are all great to bring if you can and want to 😉💚
Thanks to Ron for the amazing shots!
I'm thinking of making another account for our Green Rainbow collective, what do you think?
