AndresSo, like, what in the hostile architecture is up with this fence on #QueensBlvd? Is that to ensure that drivers on BOTH roads have enough space to illegally park on the curb? Is it to keep people from camping? Was someone at #NYCDOT drunk?
Went to #vote today at #QueensBoroughHall and was pleased to see brand new bike lanes on #QueensBlvd! Not yet protected, and not yet finished (the connection between the old #QueensBlvdPBL and new bike lanes is confusing and awful), but a good start. #Queens #NYC #BikeNYC

Boy, I absolutely cannot wait for the DOT capital project (costing millions of dollars) that will reconstruct the #QueensBlvd protected bike lane to make it look a lot like the curb in these pictures that cars are currently parked all over. It's going to be such a huge improvement! 🙃
@Ny_jc_gal_76 One of the reasons I vote absentee instead of going over there to Queens Borough Hall (my early voting location) is because #QueensBlvd is so sketchy over there. At the very least, need to extend the #QueensBlvdPBL, improve the medians, fix the stupid diagonal #crosswalks, and fix the signals.
I can definitely feel my sphincter unclench when I get to the part of the #QueensBlvdPBL that has #JerseyBarriers (ie, is actually #protected instead of just some #CarTickleStix).
