There may be snow on the ground (and #QueensBlvdPBL full of ice), but that doesn't stop family #CargoBikers from showing up to the climbing gym!

The Adams' Administration (both of them - Eric and Adrienne) streets in a nutshell: a motorcycle driver illegally driving in a "protected" bike lane, yelling at a driver who has illegally parked in a "protected" bike lane to get out of the bike lane. #BikeNYC #QueensBlvdPBL
But I'm sure ebike license plates will fix this, #NYCCouncil .
That was fun. I was crossing the Queensboro Bridge when I notice a dad and his kid biking in front of me. When we get to Skillman I pass them and say to the dad, "He's doing great!" Turns out they're biking all the way to Forest Hills, and the kid is the same age as my daughter and they were previously in the same school & class. We chatted the rest of the 6mi ride home. #BikeNYC #BikeQNS
It made me miss #KidicalMass. We should have one on the #QueensBlvdPBL @transportationalternatives.
So I know there are various problems with green-painted bike lanes (paint can be slippery in the rain, it's a wasteful amount of paint, and so on), but.. when you're biking w/ a 7yo, it sure is a lot easier to just tell her "stay in the green part!".
I was in the #QueensBlvdPBL with my (bakfiet) cargo bike, and some lady pulls her car about 20-30ft in front of me. Predicting what would happen next, I gave a wide berth as her passenger flung the door open just before I passed them.
I screamed "ASSHOLE" at the top of my lungs, scaring tf out of both of them. It felt good.
I absolutely despise these rumble strips on the #QueensBlvdPBL. They're at *every* *single* intersection, every mid-block crossing, and every car merge*. Feels like they're like every 200 feet for miles, and they rattle my brain every time no matter what speed I go over them. I've never before wanted suspension on my bike..

* Drivers? Go as fast as you want (despite having a stop sign). Bikes? Whoa, slow down there Speedy Gonzalez (despite technically having the right of way)!
Writing a comment (asking once again for proper protection on the #QueensBlvdPBL) to #NYC #DOT, and the captcha wants me to check all the boxes with cars in them. Okay, a little on-the-nose for DOT, but sure, I can do that...
Wait, hold up. Computer: Enhance.
Is that a bunch of cars and motorcycles parked on a *sidewalk*? What is this, an #NYPD station?
Little kids biking with their parents on the Queens Blvd "protected" bike lane deserve *actual* protection, not just a few sad broken flex posts.
Note the cars parked on the sidewalk portion of the PBL.
Went to #vote today at #QueensBoroughHall and was pleased to see brand new bike lanes on #QueensBlvd! Not yet protected, and not yet finished (the connection between the old #QueensBlvdPBL and new bike lanes is confusing and awful), but a good start. #Queens #NYC #BikeNYC
Also brand new parking for NYC Parks Dept. 😒
