I'm currently reading Matthew D Taylor's The Violent Take It By Force, an excellent book about religious nationalism in the US, and Tamas Rudas's Lectures on Categorical Data Analysis to see if it will work as a text for a course I'll be teaching in the spring.
It sometimes makes me laugh to think that I am equally interested in both subjects. The academy is probably the only employment context where I can indulge both interests.
