#Gelbi ended up crashing and clinging at the 3D-tiled wall, directly after bathing, instead of flying back to the cage downstairs like usual. Normally, he only ends up there, when going upwards without too much light. The first time he did it today, I didn't see him there for a few minutes. I hope he's fine. Munching 🫑 and wet seeds still seems to work, though.

- after brushing teeth together and him bathing, there was a long cuddle with #Gelbi, where he sat on my knee and leaned on my hand while drying
- did some coding to improve #WikiTreeBEE's handling of #Wikipedia redirects when searching locations at #Wikidata
- managed to cut off some annoying branches from a plant near our outside stairs

This photo is a couple years old but it was a special moment. We told #austinwildlufereacue that we had room for one more #quakerparrot the next day, the rescuer said she was transporting several babies through town. So we met with her. Alan and I got to sit and play with a bunch of baby birds. These guys all had their feathers and only needed hand feeding about once every 4 hours. We chose our bird, Temperance from among these little ones. Alan and I both love hand feeding baby #birds.
