After some adjustments for folding thick paper, and for sleeved cards, I've now got a #DIY set of component boxes for all the #QuacksOfQuedlinburg hundreds of chits and rubies and trackers and oh my! it all fits in the original box insert.

Thank you to #BoardGameGeek user 'milandejong', from whose print-and-play document I adapted these to suit my materials.

After we learned #QuacksOfQuedlinburg together (and really enjoyed it!), my #BoardGames table-mate went and fetched something: a box of teaching supplies.

One item they hadn't figured out how to use was a set of bright coloured shoelaces. They were in exactly the colours (red, blue, yellow, green) and number (2 of each) and ideal length, to replace the drawstrings on the bag for each player.

I think this means they like the game 🎉

me: actually I'll just buy it locally now and *wait* for the upgraded chits to arrive.

me: well, now that I have it I may as well punch out hundreds of cardboard chits and *then* wait.

me: certainly it would be a waste to use my paint pens to laboriously colour the edges of *all those cardboard chits* when the upgraded ones will arrive soon.

me: no, don't do it, you're only going to put them in bags and *never use them again* once the upgraded chits arrive.

We just taught the 7 year old how to play #QuacksOfQuedlinburg and she loved it. She got 2nd place with 51 points!
