Can you emulate a Raspberry Pi on commodity PC hardware? (Fedora 44 amd64 in my case.)
Any search for "Raspberry Pi Emulator" results in rigs for running old console games on Raspberry Pi hardware.

I want to boot the Raspberry Pi OS card I just created and do some additional configuration before I deploy it in actual Pi hardware. If it matters, the final hardware is a Zero W.

If possible I'm guessing #qemu would be part of the picture but I don't know how to find what I'm looking for.

CXL, that's for FPGAs. The escape isn't for x86 or ARM. It's not even for virtio.

Typical Proxmox CE deployments use AppArmor Sandboxing. Guest-to-host escapes are possible, but not this way.

It's not that Qemu is a fortress of years of great security auditing. That's not my point. My point is that the AI hype for vuln hunting is a fata morgana. Unless you work hard, you get nothing with or without AI.
