Changes to My Legal Blogs Social Media Postings – Puttering in the Study

A Week On The Road – Puttering in the Study

I have really been pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to move my personal blog from Typepad to a WordPress platform. Found good online tips on how to do it, and with one minor bump the entire contents of the prior site came over cleanly.
I found a theme I'm okay with (I can't find any I really like) and have been able to modify it to do what I want. I'm still not happy with the design, and it doesn't appear the way I'm like, but I think I'm close to the end of what I can figure out how to do on this theme.
But way easier to past now that I'm on the same platform as my office blog. And I think it finally having its own domain. #putteringinthestudy
Really enjoyed "Devotion" this afternoon. Even the CGI carrier looked way better on screen than it did on TV. #putteringinthestudy #NavalAviation http://putteringinthestudy.com/2022/11/28/devotion/

Blitz: A Novel (The Rook/Checquy Files Book 3) – Daniel O’Malley – Puttering in the Study

I started my professional and personal blogs in 2003 on TypePad. In 2016 I shut down the old EDTexweblog.com in favor of a paying version on WordPress. Last year I added a second WordPress blog on WW II issues. I finally decided it was time to move from what has, I understand, become an obsolete blog platform, and bought www.putteringinthestudy.com.

I'm having some issues porting over the old blog content, but in the meantime will start posting on the new page. I might even decide to manually port recent posts over, but that's for another day.

It will take a while to get the site changed from the template, but it'll likely be a while before anyone notices anyway. #PutteringInTheStudy
