Log Lady: There are many stories in Twin Peaks. Some of them are sad, some funny. Some are stories of madness, of violence. Some are ordinary. Yet they all have about them a sense of mystery. The mystery of life, sometimes the mystery of death

I've reviewed Scott Meslow's wondrous, enchanting, and piercingly investigative book about Twin Peaks.
This is so far the best non-fiction book of 2026. I urge everyone to read this book.

I sat down with Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me tonight. It sure is a strange prequel film to the original series. It does seem a bit heavy handed as to what happened during the first 2 seasons, so I wouldn't watch this first before the OG seasons. It does fill in the gaps prior to Laura Palmers death and fits the rest of the original series plot. Watch Season 1 & 2 prior to viewing. Next stop? Season 3. Wish me luck.
Dings, hab auf Twitter so n David Lynch movie rating am laufen, weil ich grad langsam die filmography durchgehe:
Inland Empire > Mulholland Dr. > Blue Velvet > Twin Peak: FWWM > Twin Peaks S. 1-2 > Eraserhead > Lost Highway

Special Agent Roger Hardy: Dale. We've got a problem. Effective immediately, without pay, I regret to inform you of your suspension from the FBI

A wonderful excerpt from Scott Meslow's great book about Twin Peaks.
This is about trans person Denise Bryson, played by David Duchovny, and how David Lynch described her during the first two seasons of 'Twin Peaks' and 25 years later, in the third season.

I finished my latest rewatch of Twin Peaks: The Return. Such a mind-bending season. I've also been immersing myself in the interpretations of the season that are present in the r/TwinPeaks subreddit, which have broadened my view considerably. I appreciate this show more each time I see it.
Major Briggs: The drug Windom Earle gave me has apparently heightened my sense data. Shapes, colors, smells. I am bombarded, and yet... it's as if my brain were better able to interpret and define reality. Wow.
