Airbus A330-200 1:500 - FDM

The Airbus A330-200 is a versatile, wide-body twinjet known for its excellent range capabilities that make it a favorite for long-haul international routes. Its shorter fuselage compared to the -300 variant allows it to carry an optimal balance of payload and fuel, often utilizing the Rolls-Royce Trent 700, General Electric CF6, or Pratt & Whitney PW4000 engine options. This model is printed using an FDM printer, I hope you like it, thank you. Here’s what each label means: - FDM: Printed on an FDM machine. These versions have lower detail, no panel lines, no engine blades, and use thicker walls. - SLA 1: Printed on an SLA machine. These include antennas, include engine blades, have thinner walls, but still do not have panel lines. - SLA 2: Same as SLA 1, but with added panel lines for higher surface detail.

E190 1:400 - SLA 2

The Embraer E190 is a sleek, narrow-body twinjet known for its comfortable 2-2 seating configuration, optimizing passenger flow. Its high aspect ratio wing and efficient GE CF34-10E engines provide excellent performance for regional routes. Someone gave me a suggestion to upload this, E1900, on Cults, so I did. This might make you confused, the attached pictures above are with 1:600, the one on the right is the whole model and the one on the left is the one where the two wings are separate but one whole part. The file that you will download later is with 1:400 and has never been printed before, the wings are split in two, the right and left, this I did because the results are better especially for the print, and this has been done on other models before. This model was printed using the Anycubic Photon Mono printer, hope you like it, thanks for stopping by.

Lots of swearing with the fitting of the wings into the airframe. That and the wing-halves joining has always been a loathsome process: they depend so heavily on the previous steps and if one has misunderstood the instructions or slightly misaligned some bits, this is where one finds out. Way too late to fix it nicely anymore. Grumble grumble.

Unsurprisingly something had been off and I am grumbling. Maybe I can salvage it. Annoying, as I was having slow fun 😋

K30 truck is complete. Now on to fuel drums, cans and a special item (what can it be?) for the cargo bay. #scalemodel #scalemodeling #135scale #Airfix #caunter

Small changes in a way, but they made a noticeable difference: the airframe halves are now joined with the cannon part installed. I glued and puttied two screws into the closed lower segments (where the autocannon ejector ports are) for weighting, but nose needs more extra mass.

Soon I can seal the earlier made cockpit and start on airbrushable stuff, yay!

Me rindo. Las calcas del Mistercraft son tan malas que se rompen al poco de ponerlas. No voy a gastar dinero en calcas, costarán mas que la maqueta. A ver si mañana con mas ánimo barnizo y enguarro un poco. #MS406 #Maquetas #Modelismo #ScaleModeling #ModelAircraft

Slow indeed: in a week I've done the two-person cockpit and now the quad autocannon section. Painted simply, but painted anyway.

So far the only metallic paint I've used has been Duraluminium on the outside of the crew's armoured tub. The things that are to be sealed out of sight are all unpainted, like the nose here that expects to receive 15g of additional weights. No idea yet what or where to obtain tiny weights locally, though 🤔

Slow and cautious is how I proceed, three hobby sessions done and I'm almost ready to move on to the radar operator's station behind the pilot. Looks fun, I need to apply gloss varnish on the dials before I seal the thing.
