Fastmail want $11 per month if I want accounts for my kids too (the 6 accounts plan).

#Purelymail charges around 0.33$ per month (or 0.83$ for the simple pricing) and has no restrictions on the number of users.

I want more providers that only delivers the core functionality at a low price.
Maybe they can launch PurelyVPS too? Without becoming BloatedMailAndVPSAtAMuchHigherPrice?

I don`t remember who was a hero that told me (ok, not me, just shared info about that service) about Purelymail.com but it is great.

It is just PURE eMail service.

No bullshit

No ads

No AI etc

Just simple "you pay 10 euro, you have mail".

I have connected bunch of my domains with simple Catch-all@domain -> myAddress @ purelymail.com

and I dont have to think about shit. It works.

So, PurelyMail e-mail support finally replied. They said "sorry" 3 times in a single short message and also said that they would better document the feature I mentioned and that was the culprit of all the trouble I had.

So here I am, back with FastMail after a horrible experience with PurelyMail.

I noticed that I wasn't receiving all the e-mail. Not even from Firefox Relays and other sites like a bank.

I tried to reach the support team but was ghosted so far. I don't know how I'll get a refund if they don't reply.

Anyone got any tips? Disabling DMARC feature for incoming emails would solve this?

🟢 Update: poking around, I found a setting called "DMARC Enforcement on Incoming Mail". Disabling it solves the problem for me.

I guess that this + catch-all enabled made the incoming e-mails be discarded due to DMARC/SPF/DKIM misalignment after forwarding internally (to catch all e-mail).

Purelymail News - Purelymail 2026 Roadmap

@Firesphere I use #purelymail and I love it. It charges based on email storage and email transfere data usage, not number of users or domains. At least in USD, it is dirt cheap too.

Purelymail can also act as a public relay for your existing server, so you don't have to deal with 'bad ip' issues.

Alright, well now I'm using #purelymail for an inbox and #resend for sending via #RESTAPI instead of #SMTP

@chipotle
How's your experience been with #PurelyMail so far?

@mick_collins

Earlier this year, I used Purelymail until I switched back to a self-hosted email server. Today, I found out that Purelymail was sold shortly after I closed my account due to health reasons. The new owner has pledged to continue the service in the same spirit as its founder, who always provided excellent support when I needed it. My reason for switching wasn’t due to any dissatisfaction with Purelymail; I simply wanted more control and to host my data in Europe again. I wish Purelymail all the best and hope it continues to provide its great, no-nonsense email service.
Self-hosting my emails again: A few weeks in - Jan-Lukas Else

A few weeks ago, I moved back to self-hosting my mail server after using Purelymail for three years. The decision wasn’t about cost – it’s actually more expensive to rent a VPS – but about control, security, and data locality. My mails are now hosted in Europe, giving me more confidence in their privacy, and I can configure everything exactly as I want while ensuring compliance with GDPR.
