I had been considering getting a custom punch made several times, but never looked to see if one already existed commercially. Today, while doing a 5 minute peruse of the thrift store, there it was!

When you use as many tabbed index card dividers as I do, this can be incredibly useful. It’s just the right size for doing 1/3 cut tabs on 4″ x 6″ index cards.

Acquired at Acts Thrift Store on October 7, 2025 for $2.50.

I've been deliberating a lot before I decided to try out Hawkodile as a cosplay, because not everyone is familiar with the Unikitty series on #cartoonnetwork. In fact, only one person recognized me at Dokomi, where I tried it out for the first time. But, you know, there's these characters which you see cosplayed on every other cosplay account and convention because they are popular and relatable. For me, cosplaying is mostly about giving attention to characters or series I'm really excited about and which brighten up my life. Unikitty is definitely one of those, since she's loaded with happiness and positivity! This was enough of a reason for me to cosplay Hawk, no matter how many people would appreciate it! 😗👌

It's still a bit experimental, e.g. the glasses should be bigger (edited in the picture) and the body could use some airbrushed details. But, can we appreciate how well it works with a face mask? 😎 It was actually the easiest way to realize his beak. (for the record, this was made in 2020)

Most fun I had with this project was definitely building my fluffy Unikitty prop, which can sing and play meme sounds! 🎶🎵 I really should post the building process sometimes... 🤔
