Like everything else she writes, "The Night Watchman" by Louise Erdrich is brilliant. Set against the backdrop of a Congressional effort to terminate Indian tribes, Erdrich blends romantic comedy, history, and the struggle to find and save one's identity. As always, rich tribal and family histories loom mystically large. #PulitzerPrizeWinner #Pulitzer #Books #Bookstodon #Literature
