As a gay man, I still feel as though others regard me, rightly or wrongly, as weird or abnormal.

Even in #LGBT friendly countries there is still a lot of homophobia that passes from one generation to the other.

Some people now tolerate minorities, but very few are really accepting and completely at ease with them.
