@Wildethingy Ah, but the thing is, they are using the word that is correct according to their idiolect. Telling them they're 'wrong' won't really get you anywhere. Ever entered the murky waters of #DescriptiveLinguistics (= how people actually talk)? vs #PrescriptiveLinguistics (= how some people think others should talk)? I can't get enough of it!
