I discovered today during traffic jams on #A12 and #M25 that my car radio does autoscan in the background for new stations -there were at least 3 #FM #PirateRadio stations on the air (playing rave/dance/drum and bass genres) in South #Essex and #Enfield / #PottersBar area of #M25. including one on 87.5 MHz - I wondered why they used a frequency that is now cut across by small in-car transmitters, but realised this makes it near impossible for Ofcom to pin down who is doing it! >>
