CarolannieBright pink crabapples. This tree was so odd: the crabapples were growing on short spurs all over the branches, so that it looked like a bright pink knobby mossy hedgehog tree. I couldn't get a good shot at it, but maybe I'll try again.

Usnea(old man's beard) is a very useful lichen. It's been used for wound care because of it's antimicrobial properties, as well as treating urinary tract infections, athletes foot etc. Usnea is also a good indicator of air quality as it's sensitive to the environment, and of course makes a good fire starter.
Plsik (born in 320 ppm) ๐จ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฆ๐ต๐ธTwo types of lichen on a boulder, actually on a quartz crystal. The boulder lies in the garden of Seon Mun Sa, a Zen center in the Czech Republic.
