💁🏻‍♀️ TIL: ♻️🧪 Researchers at #Aarhus University in #Denmark converted #polystyrene from #Styrofoam cups, takeout containers, and CD cases into a solid material that captures CO₂ from #air and smokestacks.

The two-step process adds amines to the #plastic, creating a sponge that grabs CO₂ when cool and releases it when heated for reuse.
