Ed.Anybody remember the #personalcloud craze that happened in the early 2010s, with the #PogoPlug and others pitching us a future of hosting our own websites, email, and cloud files with a little box in our homes? The @freedomboxfndn persists, but this topic is ripe for a post mortem. I imagine security was an issue with those, maybe performance and UX too? Or was the free #GAFAM cloud just too seductive in 2011?
