Often, the party of a sitting President loses a lot of seats in the midterms and lots of the media was predicting it.
A wave would be 30, 40 seats. Dems got over 40 in 2018. At best this is a #PinkTinkle (term courtesy of a friend.)

Republicans didn't "flip" three seats in Florida. Ron DeSantis drew up a redistricting map that gerrymandered those districts, a map most elections experts think is unconstitutional. Those seats weren't "won.”
This happened in some other places, too, like Tennessee. It’s important context when looking at the results. And they still aren’t getting a red wave despite drawing about 5 seats by themselves.
