This is no surprise - Jacob's idiotic stunt was obvious to anyone with a shred of aviation experience. He deliberately crashed an aircraft into a protected wilderness, risking lives for YouTube clout. Then he was dumb enough to think that covering it up was going to make anything better.

I'm no fan of the FAA, but this is a case where throwing the book at someone is more than adequately justified by the facts.
