Pigeon Point Lighthouse, 5/18/2023. This 115-foot beauty in Pescadero, California is tied with Point Arena Lighthouse as the tallest lighthouse on the West Coast. At the time of our visit, the tower was closed for extensive repairs, but we were able to roam the grounds to view it. We easily could have spent all day there.

Halfway between Halfmoon Bay And Santa Cruz is where you will find this lighthouse. The light was built in 1872 and is 115 feet tall. It is named Carrier Pigeonafter the ship that wrecked here in 1853.

Halfway between Halfmoon Bay And Santa Cruz is where you will find this beautiful lighthouse. The light was built in 1872 and is 115 feet tall.
I can't count how many times I had driven past this treasure as I cruised down Hwy. 1 down to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk.
