Parliament is NOT a legal council. It’s NOT judge or jury. The fact that the Conservatives are celebrating this should scare the hell out of everyone—it just proves how authoritarian Poilievre will be if he gets elected. This sets a DANGEROUS precedent—Parliament can now basically order the RCMP to investigate whatever the hell they want. And with Poilievre’s disgusting stances on trans people, drug addicts, and low-level offenders, we need to start asking hard questions NOW before it’s too late.
