Thanks to hillexed in the Winterbloom Discord for inspiration to hack an audio output to my #PicoTouch board & play with it more in Arduino. I need to get my capsense Touch library working as well as `touchio` in CircuitPython, but it's getting there. And yay for dual core on the #rp2040!

Okay! I got my new “picotouch_grid” controller to be MUCH more responsive by using the #RaspberryPiPico’s PIO blocks to do touch sensing on the much higher-capacitance rows. It’s playable now! Columns are still using #CircuitPython’s wonderful “touchio” library #rp2040 #MIDIController #PicoTouch

A new version of my #PicoTouch capsense #MIDI controller PCB for the #RaspberryPiPico! Now it's black and comes pre-assembled with all the SMD resistors! Comes with an easy-to-edit #CircuitPython program if you want to customize it. Maybe for you it's a macropad instead of a MIDI controller? I really like having a super-thin (6mm!) controller to stick in my bag.
