Ice hockey in Pohjois-Haaga the other day.

Photography has taken a back seat in my life recently, but I managed to explore a few locations that I had not photographed before in Pohjois-Haaga and Etelä-Haaga (two neighborhoods in Helsinki) the other day. As you can see, the weather was beautiful. The streets were surprisingly quiet though. I ended up walking back and forth on the side streets of both "Haagas" for several hours and took a couple of okayish photos.

I know I should not complain too much about the winter because the weather has been everything I hoped for since late December. But it is always a hassle to prepare for staying outside in the cold for hours, not to mention the effort of keeping my fingers warm. However, the first sign of seasonal change and, dare I say it, spring is here – no matter how cold it is. Sunlight reflecting off the snow has become blinding as the sun is no longer confined to the horizon during the day.
