in patients seemingly recovered from COVID-19
"We analyzed a cohort of patients who seemingly recovered from SARS-CoV-2 infection, as concluded from multiple negative PCR tests on both nasopharyngeal swabs and bronchoalveolar lavage protracting for up to 300 days, but who still clinically deteriorated and eventually died."

“Our data indicate that certain PCs [asymptomatic cases who were not immune compromised with prolonged covid infectiousness] shed infectious viruses in the long term. Moreover, our data suggest that PCs had developed relatively low antibody response but considerable memory B and T cells and upregulation of CD4 Tregs 👉🏼two months after infection. 👈🏼 “
