It was a rather lucky random choice when I on Saturday went to that very southernmost tip of #Pellestrina island, and on to Ca'Roman (or #Caroman). It surely must be one of the more "off the beaten path" destinations in #Venice.

It is easy to get to: Any vaporetto to Lido (Santa Maria Elisabetta), bus 11 to its terminus (Pellestrina), vaporetto 11 to Caroman (request stop, notify staff).

Or walk the last bit along the breakwater (murazzi) from Pellestrina to Ca'Roman.
