We have enough evidence to show that Indian elections are being manipulated on a mass scale. We(i) don't know how it is being done.
Evidence to show that manipulation is being done is much more important than the "how" part. Even if we detect one method of manipulation, there still can remain several other vulnerabilities.

What the actual fxxk?! They are using 256-bit key, but it's not ECC, but conventional discrete-log #crypto 🙈?! It's literally the equivalent of using 256-bit Diffie-Hellman, or RSA-256, DSA-256, dammit, even NSA's evil DH_EXPORT ciphers use 512-bit. Even a Raspberry Pi can probably break it.

In September 2019, voters for the election at the Parliament of the city of Moscow will be allowed to use an internet voting system. The source code of it has been made available for public testing. The encryption used in this system is a variant of ElGamal with key sizes that are too small. We explain how to retrieve the private keys from the public keys in a matter of minutes with easily available resources.
