#FossilFriday A local Mull fossil, from the Hunterian Museum collections in Glasgow. Collected about 3km from my house by WE Koch in 1881. It's a fine deciduous leaf from the Ardtun Leaf Beds (Palaeogene - ca. 61 million years old), and shows a well-developed sharp drip tip - typically an adaption to wet climates. #Mull #Palaeogene #Fossil
