Let's say I'm in search of a new #pen. Let's say I want this pen to be built in such a way that it is safe to put in a pants pocket, and I likewise am safe from it (I got myself in the arm from a pen in my pocket once, and had a little scar for ten years). It's not likely to injure me, I'm not likely to snap it when I bend or sit. Something for specific instances where I can't put a pen in a shirt pocket or in a bag or something.

Is there a term for that? What search terms should I use?
