Luise HesseSome pages from my sketch booklet number 21, that I already filled a while ago. I bound it myself, using different colored papers in various shades of gray and blue, that were basically just leftovers.
I had a lot of fun filling the pages and seeing, how my drawings and the colours of the papers interacted. I experimented with different media and materials: paper cutouts, felt-tip pens, markers – and of course my beloved coloured pencils. I just followed my intention and drew what was in my head and what made fun, and that is the result. You might see that I was thinking a lot about the relation between plants and humans these days. But there are also some abstract compositions.

PSA: wax-based and oil-based colored pencils is a meaningless distinction. There's a ton of misinformation out there by artists parroting what they've heard from other misinformed artists.
Art supply companies don't want to share proprietary recipes publicly, so we'll never know **how much** oil and what kind is in what they refer to as "oil based" pencil, and there's no official definition of what makes an "oil based" pencil, so just ignore it.

Egg of an American Robin.
I bought accidentally a set of Koh-i-noor Mondeluz aquarelle #colouredpencils. This was a first test #drawing. They are very soft and not as smooth as the Albrecht Dürer, but still fun.. actually I like oil based pencils more, they blend much better imho.
btw, the photo here is way less dense in colours
