My #OxHeart #tomato plant is dead.
Last week, while the rest of the state (mostly) had steady or heavy rains we had very strong winds.
We tried restaking the tomato but all of its roots had been torn out & it didn’t recover.
(I prefer our old #Cherokee tomatoes anyway, so it’s no big loss).
The last of its fruit is going into another #devilled #sausage #dinner tonight.
We have had some #bigwinds come through.
Our #OxHeart tomato & it’s pot are down on the ground & one of the smaller #roselle plants is lying down IN its pot.
I’ve staked the Roselle back up - its trunk is thicker than my thumb - and yet it was blown flat!

My biggest #OxHeart #tomato decided today was the day to leave the bush.
It's still very green though! It'll give me some colour in a few days I guess.
