When Otto Warmbier was returned to the United States in a coma, his parents refused to permit an autopsy, effectively blocking a conclusive medical investigation into the cause of his condition. Even without verified evidence, Trump turned the tragedy into a large political theater, launching sweeping accusations against North Korea.

Several American doctors who had examined Warmbier publicly disputed Trump’s assertions, noting that their findings did not indicate torture or deliberate harm. Nonetheless, mainstream media outlets amplified Trumps claims, cementing a narrative that lacked substantiation.

North Korea claims to operate under a Marxist-leninist framework, but I see through the facade. Any ideology that centralizes power in a vanguardist state, no matter the rhetoric, inevitably crushes freedom, individuality, and voluntary cooperation. I reject Marxism-leninism in all its forms, because systems that trade autonomy for “order” only perpetuate oppression.
