Dear visitor, This registration form is to register yourself for the Robotics workshop at Ordina. The workshop is given on the 24th of November. It will start at 17:00 till 20:00. Summary: At the robotics workshop you will get a deep dive into the world of robotics. We will try to connect the physical world with motors, camera images to code and even the cloud! During the robotics part you will get to know the basics of Robot Operating System 2 in short ROS 2. ROS is relied upon throughout the robotics industry. It’s the norm for teaching robotics. It’s the basis for most robotics research, from single-student projects to multi-institution collaborations and large-scale competitions. And it’s inside robots that are running in production all around the world today. Not only are we going to try to make the robot move, but also we are going to make it connect to the cloud. The robot will be able to make pictures with the onboard camera. That picture will be sent to the Azure Cloud. To do this we will be using Azure functions. Once the picture is uploaded to the cloud, we can do image recognition to see if you have the right picture for a power up (Robot Wars) or get a point for finding the right picture (I spy with my little eye).
