Finally watched #openheimer last night, two things I don't get.

Why was such a slow movie a box office smash?

Why is the #USA so scared of #communism and #unions ?

So much effort put into the question of "is he a commi"

No effort put into examining the pros and cons of any form of collectivism.

This is the Hanford B Reactor, it’s a little over 50 miles from where I live, it was used to produce the fuel for the Trinity test, and later the fuel for the bomb that was dropped on Japan ending WW2, the Hanford Area was a critical part of The Manhattan project. I finally watched #openheimer this weekend, it was a killer movie, the Hanford Area and B Reactor played a pivotal role in Oppenheimer’s project.
